Annabessacook Goes Green! We at Annabessacook Veterinary Clinic are always looking for new ways to be environmentally friendly. Our newest endeavor is to minimize the amount of paper we use. We are working to create an electronic communication system with our clients. This means that you will be able to receive invoices, discharge reports, reminders, etc. through your email. If we do not have your current email address please call the clinic with your current information. We thank you for your support!

Thanks for stopping by! Annabessacook Veterinary Clinic is a dual disciplinary clinic including equine and small animal medicine and surgery. We are situated in the small central Maine town of Monmouth. Monmouth hosts the Monmouth Historical Museum, as well as beautiful
Cumston Hall, home to the local library as well as the Theater at Monmouth. The clinic was named by founder Dr. Lawrence Buggia, over 20 years ago, for the beautiful Annabessacook Lake, one of several in the Winthrop Lakes Region.

Annabessacook Veterinary Clinic continues to be a full-service animal hospital while also contributing the community for which it serves. The
Friends of Cumston Hall recently hosted their first annual Apple Fest 5K in Monmouth, and ABC Vet was a major sponsor. Five members of the ABC Vet Clinic family also participated in the event: Dr. Karen Lipovsky and Hospital Manager Elisabeth Urquhart, as well as Heather Urquhart, Patricia Pratt, and Gina Vashon. Patricia and Gina even wrangled their husband and sister, respectively, into the race.

Your Horse Needs A Dental Exam Every Year.  All horses deserve a thorough oral health examination at least once a year to ensure good overall health. While most dental problems are easily treated when diagnosed early, neglecting one can lead to other serious health problems for your horse. Call your equine veterinarian today to schedule your horse’s next dental exam.
